Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I read across genres and today I happen to be reading non-fiction:

My teaser sentences:

The MIT researchers in chapter 1 discovered a simple neurological loop at the core of every habit, a loop that consists of three parts:  a cue, a routine, and a reward.  To understand your own habits, you need to identify the components of your loops.

What is your teaser?

I am a creature of habit and this gives me an idea. I have to reward myself for every thing I do that I want to become a habit! Looks like an excellent book choice!

I also am very habitual and not all of them good. That is part of the reason i am reading this. Pretty interesting mix of anecdotal and research based evidence

Okay, I am much to un-intelligent to read this book! 🙂

I’m very habitual…but then I know those that are worse. Habits are only bad if they’re well…bad haha

  6. Oh, this is simple psych. I love it. Thanks for stepping by and sharing! New follower. =)
