Unfortunately due to a nasty case of the flu, despite having the flu shot, I am still not getting much reading done. It has left me with lingering vertigo, lightheadedness and dizziness. I have worked my way through one Wallender book: Sidetracked
which I enjoyed even in the state I am in. Another read was short Kindle purchase I will Never Leave You. An okay mystery read.
Finally, I have worked through the The Dark Blue Winter Overcoat & Other Stories from the North, which was well written, just not what I was expecting and as such I didn’t really enjoy it.
Be careful with that lightheadedness. I got the flu, managed to get severely dehydrated and it caused me to pass out. Then to the hospital for bags of fluid and man, this recovery is bad.
I have barely any interest in reading and the energy level is low. Sorry to complain on your blog but wanted to tell you to take care!
Wow – that sounds bad. I have been trying to be mindful that I drink a lot but I do still feel dehydrated. I do know what you mean with the low energy and not being interested in reading. I just haven’t been able to summon up the energy to follow along a story really. Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you, sorry for the delay in replying. Hope you are on the mend too. It takes a while. I’ll be glad to see February gone!
